About the Event

Organisations have often focused their Agile transformation efforts on standardisation to some established ways of working, from Scrum to scaled models. This approach had some merits: it enabled to stabilise how work happened and it started operating a cadence that improved the delivery of software. But that was only ever going to go so far. Many will acknowledge that transformations are plateauing and that there is some mileage to go for true levels of Flow and enterprise agility. Flow is still a completely misunderstood concept in the world of digital and technology. Many associate Flow to a traditional production chain manufacturing where the work can be normalised. Digital engineering, on the other hand is mostly custom and highly variable. But it does not mean that Flow cannot happen. It just takes novel lenses of how to achieve it. In this session we’ll explore how the concept of Flow can apply in digital / knowledge work and the next level of change that organisations should embark on. We will give a short introduction to the Triple Helix of Flow from the Flow System, also known as the new DNA of Organisations. Please note that this session is a taster prelude to the Training that we will be running in September with Nigel Thurlow, the co-founder of the Flow System. Please sign-up to the training at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/flow-system-foundations-fs-1-in-person-training-with-nigel-thurlow-tickets-154418843919
