Agile Collaboration Effectiveness Circle
Social circles focused on the collaboration effectiveness of the Agile team events for Agile roles
Service Description
This service is a turnkey engagement under our Spirited Engagement services that addresses the challenge of Agile practices that have become mechanical and potentially settled on wrong foundations. This service specifically focuses on the effectiveness of collaboration in Agile team events. It is not unusual to walk into organisations that have practised Agile for some time and where the team events are run mechanically, with the ScrumMaster coordinating updates from all the participants, work assigned to individuals and retrospectives that produce very few improvements. This circle's schedule visits each of the Agile team events, with a strong emphasis on organising team collaboration as part of the event. This circle is a natural fit for ScrumMasters and Agile Coaches, but it's also designed to benefit any Agile team role, including Product Owners, team leaders, and team members. If you have more specific needs and require custom-designing the social circle schedule, we offer a service to do just this. Please look for this service as part of our Spirited Engagement category. Format of the Service: - Upon signing up for the service, we'll discuss the cohort to onboard, paying attention to keeping it diverse across the business, - We'll run an introduction session setting up the collaborative alliance and framing the topics and will ask people to elect to take on "hot seats", i.e. when they will be bringing topics for discussion, - We'll then run six sessions using our techniques of circle facilitation, - The last session will also include a wrap. If you do not have the scale for operating circles of your own, please enquire as we can look to combine non-competitive businesses with shared circles and/or bulk onboard you on a public run of such circles.
Cancellation Policy
This booking is to establish the basis for the engagement of interest. During this initial meeting, we will discuss your needs and the suitability of the engagement. We will then produce a quote to proceed with the engagement. We will also schedule the engagement based on availability. This is especially important for multi-day engagements (e.g., strategy off-site, change increment design, etc.) or those that must be on a specific day (e.g., presentations). Best to talk early to avoid disappointment.
