Kaizen and LeanTech operating model
Set the context to collaborate on excellence with Kaizen and LeanTech leadership
Service Description
This service brings activities to embed LeanTech excellence and Kaizen as a standard work practice. The service involves establishing an operating model for Kaizen in and across the teams, and we help you facilitate systemic Kaizen events. Designing a LeanTech Kaizen operating model: - This initial advisory phase helps you design an operating model for LeanTech, making headroom for Kaizen, - We look to progressively establish a context for integrating improvement activities at team and system levels. The context needs to develop focused time, practices, visualisation, governance, measures, ownership, accountability, discipline, etc., - We establish an increment, we realise it, and we set the next increment, etc., until the system and leadership are self-sustaining about it, Organising Kaizen events: - We offer a service to improve retros in the Agile teams, - Kaizen events are to practice Kaizen at the system level, across teams. We establish a synchronised time when people from different specialities self-organise to solve problems collaboratively, - Such events require preparation and facilitation, - We also include education points to Kaizen techniques, - We establish Kaizen Sponsor and Lead roles and coach those roles through the event, learning from practical experience, - The Kaizen events wrap up by demoing the decisions and establishing how the solutions will integrate into standard work. We have had great success creating a genuine culture and leadership of improvement from this service. Please book some time to establish how to start your journey of establishing a Kaizen and LeanTech operating model.
