The Challenge:
As organisations are amid the digital revolution, leadership and realignment tend to progress slower than the pace of market changes. We are in the 21st-century business landscape, and leadership still operates from 20th-century models (often early 20th century!).
Many organisations have experienced disappointing transformation efforts in the past two decades. The need was not so much to transform as to find a way to continually evolve. The only transformation needed was transformative leadership; unsurprisingly, that has been challenging to address.
Leadership, organisation system and outcomes are intrinsically connected. It is almost impossible to change any of them in isolation. Many practitioners will talk about the Agile mindset and developing cultures, but those are not directly workable; they result in revised conditions.
The challenge is to understand the dynamics of organisations and to modify the influencing conditions to generate different outcomes. Working constantly with the context, setting it, maintaining it, and resetting it is the role of Leadership. It is also delicate to always maintain coherence and combine learning new concepts and putting them into practice while making the changes matter in support of excellence, delivery, and pursuit of strategy.
Our Differentiated Approach:
We offer new-generation training, coaching, and mentoring with the relevant considerations to take you to the next level in your change:Â
We provide training in Applied Flow inspired by the Flow System. The Flow System is one of the most advanced Flow Thinking offering that combines many essential considerations from the Toyota Production System, brought into the age of Complexity and Agility,Â
We offer new Leadership programmes developing the perspective of Systemic Leadership applied to leadership in relationship with the system and facilitating the collaborative relationship of teams, across teams and the whole organisation,Â
We offer advanced learning in organisation design with elements of Agendashift, Viable System Model and Team Topologies and our expertise in pivoting organisations to value streams,Â
We are a specialist in Strategy and specifically in new ways of Strategy for agility. We are also global specialists in a new technique called Wardley Maps, which we have taught on O'Reilly.Â
Our Flow fundamentals combine all those elements at a high level, and we can also offer deep dives in each area.Â
Expected Outcomes:Â
We generally aim to recalibrate in alignment with the progress of the Change. This is not about a wholesale new method but working closely with your context and the maturity of the leadership within. We progress in meaningful lock steps of skills and application and across the dimensions of excellence, Flow, strategy, and intentional collaboration.
As we progress through the change, you can expect:
Seeing a developing confidence in your leaders,
Better working relationships in the teams and across the teams,
Improved collaboration and, with it, improved problem-solving and better creative innovation,
Better value realisation from a better alignment of the teams along value chains,
Improvements in quality over time resulting in less needed attention to failure demand and regained attention to value-add innovation,
Better team health, and in turn, better leadership health, as well as talent retention and attraction,
Engagement, initiatives, and responsibility across the whole organisation system.Â
