About the Event

Anybody trying to move their organisation to value streams (also known as shifting from project to products) quickly tends to find out that reworking the alignment is far from a trivial exercise. How do you get a fresh visualisation of the organisation outside of the organigram? How do you elevate from the quagmire that too low level techniques such as value stream mapping tend to result in.

Wardley Maps offer a modern strategic framework for businesses, especially when the landscape is fast changing. What makes them special is that they automatically offer a value orientation, as every map should start from the users and their needs. And they visualise the organisation alignment in support of those user outcomes. They are therefore the perfect tool to visualise the business system and take decisions of alignment.
