Service Description
Many companies deploy various forms of coaching to their leaders and employees. Some have set in-house programmes (see our other offering to add systemic dimensions to those) or use coaching platforms to offer coaching en masse. It is paradoxical that organisations seek better team collaboration and primarily coach people individually instead of directly coaching the teams and the system (collaboration across the teams). In fairness, system and team coaching are still relatively new competencies, and designing such programmes is considerably more complex, especially as they typically need to connect coherently with change programmes. Our coaching is systemic first, and we help you design programmes that mix team coaching, system coaching, and the coaching of leaders to systemic competencies. It is also helpful to mix education in such programmes to introduce the concepts of connected relationship systems. We help you stop self-harm by bringing a critical 'systemic' perspective to your existing L&D and HR programmes and recommend adjustments in support of collaborative systems. Because systems' characteristics are primarily emergent, we also offer other associated services to harness narrative surveys from the people (or the customers). Format of the service: - The service is essentially an advisory service that we would size up to your needs, - We'll start by identifying the system(s) with your leadership through interviews and workshops. We also discuss collaboration dynamics, conflicts and opportunities, - We 'go genba' on some team meetings and planning synch events to verify the perceptions and difficulties of the teams in practice, - Optionally, we can deploy a SenseMaker(R) survey to obtain narrative feedback, - We discuss our findings with the leadership in charge of L&D and coaching programmes and co-design coherent systemic coaching to complement existing programmes, - We can extend our support to deploying the systemic programmes, using our Platform for Continuous Change, or we can help your in-house coaches run those with coach mentoring and supervision offerings. This booking is to establish your interest in engaging the support of Henko. During this initial meeting, we will discuss your needs and the suitability of an engagement. We will then produce a quote to proceed. We will also schedule the engagement based on availability. This is especially important for engagements that need to happen on a specific date (e.g., presentations, off-sites). It is best to talk early to avoid disappointment.
